DIRECTOR

Liza Morberg is an internationally acclaimed director, producer, writer, and visual storyteller known for weaving music, movement, and emotion into bold and compelling narratives. With a background in acting, dance, photography, and DJ-ing, she brings a unique rhythm and contemporary edge to every project she undertakes.

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Liza honed her craft at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, where her passion for storytelling and visual artistry flourished. Early in her career, she gained invaluable experience at production giants like Warner Bros. and creating content for Interscope Records, which paved the way for her transition into directing. Beginning with music videos, Liza quickly expanded into feature films, commercials, documentaries, and TV series - all infused with her signature energy and creativity.

Liza’s debut indie feature film, Alone Together, explored themes of identity, sexuality, and cultural differences in youth culture, earning the title of Best International Feature at the Santa Fe International Film Festival. Her thriller TV series, The Chosen Ones, which follows 12 women locked in a secret medical experiment, achieved international success after its release on SVT. She also directed the viral music video for Robin Schulz featuring James Blunt (270+ million views) and the acclaimed music-driven project Sensory Overload for SVT, blending critical social commentary and humor to explore the absurdity of today’s world. Her commercial portfolio includes global campaigns for Coca-Cola, Volvo, and H&M, showcasing her ability to translate bold ideas into visually stunning brand storytelling. Liza’s critically acclaimed documentary Gender Transformation explores complex questions about identity with sensitivity and depth. The film has won multiple awards, including "Best POV Documentary" at the Manhattan Film Festival, further cementing her reputation as a fearless and impactful storyteller.
